Marshall, Will and Holly, on a routine expedition, when the greatest earthquake ever known! I don't know ALL of the words to this theme song...but I know most of them. I couldn't wait until Saturday mornings to watch Grumpy, Alice, and Dopey interact with Marshall, Will and Holly. The Sleestaks were terrifying.  Heaven forbid we forget our Cave man friend "Cha-Ka." He's actually a Pakuni, if you want the scientific name of his species.

The series ran from 1974 to 1976, and had a very limited budget, often reusing their claymation footage of the dinasaur characters. I would watch the show, and then play outside with my cousins in the dead of winter, pretending that big chunks of ice and snow were food that we gathered to stay alive.  We would pretend our barn was a cave...and our dogs were Grumpy and Alice.  I'm not sure, but I think I made my little brother be Chaka...poor kid. No wonder he didn't want to play with me.

Chad remember's The Facts Of Life. This was one of my favorite shows as well...Chad was probably just a little kid, and I was in high school. The Facts of Life ran from 1979 to 1988, making one of the longest running sitcoms in the 1980's. Mrs. Garrett had her hands full keeping up with the exciting lives of Tootie, Blair, Jo, and Natalie.

Trivia Question:  What was Jo's last name? She was from the bronx!
