Kelly’s Korner- Awesome Free Apps

I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the "must have" apps out there.  Sometimes there are so many must haves, that they start to become more of a hindrance than a help.  Here is a list of a few of the favorites I think will be really useful. Check them out and see what you think.

Hot5

If you like technology mixed in with your work outs, you're going to love this one.  Hot5 contains pages and pages of 5 minute video workouts of every variety and difficulty level. This is a free app that allows you to mix and match videos to make your own customized workout, for any length you want, and is super simple to use. The video quality is also great.  This free app is expected to be a big hit this year.

Waze

Another free app, Waze is a new incredible interactive mapping app, that gets you from point A to Point B via the quickest route, and it lets you earn points on your account to report accidents, police traps, road debris, and more.  Waze also has traffic updates to makes sure you're going to get where you need to go easily for the best route that day.  It's also interactive, so it makes traveling a blast.

Hotel Tonight

Hotel Tonight Is your ticket to last minute, discounted lodging in super great hotels. Hotel Tonight only works with hotels that have empty rooms, and nice nice hotels!   Get the rooms on their app at discounted prices of up to 70%.   They guarantee the lowest rates, and they only work with the best of the best.  This is also a free app.

30/30

30/30 is your to do list on steroids. Start with the basics – enter in your tasks, label them by color and icon, and order them as desired. Simple and easy to use,.  Manage your list with the swipe of a finger. 30/30 asks you to designate a specific time frame for each item on your list.  Once you’ve outlined your times for each item, hit play. The timer starts, holding you accountable for a single item on your list at a time, and also alerting you when it’s time to move on to the next task. This is is free.

Cloze

Cloze integrates all of your social media accounts into one – Facebook, Twitter, Email, and even LinkedIn. Download Cloze and you can get it all in one place. Cloze organizes your contacts by who you speak with most, not who you spoke to last. This means your significant other, family members, and best friends are just a click away.  This app is also free.
