MAKING YOUR BED EVERY MORNING IS BAD FOR YOU

Prepare to be grossed out. Scientists are now saying that making your bed every morning is NOT necessarily a good thing to do. Why? Because the 1.5 million dust mites that are living in your mattress like it warm and moist, and by making your bed, that's exactly the environment you're providing for them.

ON A GOOD NOTE

If there is a good note to this story, if you DON'T make your bed, it allows your mattress to be exposed to light and fresh air, which kill a lot of the mites. Another good thing to note: they don't feed off of YOU, they feed off of your dead skin that flakes off of your body.

Dust mites are bad because they produce allergens that you inhale while you're sleeping, which can make allergies worse, or even cause asthma attacks. So if you want a better night sleep, find a way to vacuum your mattress, and see if it makes a difference!

IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR BED

They best bed making advice; Make your bed RIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO BED. If you just can't sleep in that mess of sheets, then straighten them up before you lay down.
