Kelly Rowland and her rock hard abs cover Shape's October issue. While the former Destiny's Child member says that she loves food so much that "all I have to do is look at it and I gain 5 pounds," she sure doesn't look it!

Rowland revealed her secret to staying so fit while satisfying her food urges. She creates new dishes that taste good and sort of mimic richer meals.

"I’ve come up with these variations on some of my favorites that give me the flavor I’m craving in a healthier way," she said. "When I want a steak, I grill some portobello mushrooms and put a little goat cheese on them. When I make fish tacos, rather than flour tortillas, I use butter lettuce leaves. And I’ve learned to satisfy my sweet tooth by replacing Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups with half a tablespoon of almond butter on half a banana."

Replacing a steak with mushrooms? We'll take your word for it, Kel! But then again, look at that body!

Her body isn't the only thing that's strong. She keeps her mind fresh and fit, too, by keeping a journal.

She said, "Self-reflection is so healthy. Journaling works for me -- when I record the details of what I’m going through, whether it’s a relationship issue or negative thoughts, I can look back and see how far I’ve come. It makes me proud to see my progress and how I got through a bad situation."
