J.K. Rowling, one of the most recent famous authors has a lot to be thankful for. Harry Potter fans have  a lot to be thankful for too! J.K. gave the fans secen books that were made into movies. But now that all the books have been read and the movies watched over and over, what's next? More Harry Potter?

In a new interview, she says she wouldn't rule out a return of HP, but she would be very "averse" to a sequel or a prequel, but a spin-off might be a possibility.

"I don't want to go mechanically back into that world and pick up a load of odds and ends and glue them together and say, 'Here we go, we can sell this.'  But if I did have a great idea for something else, I probably would do it."

Another thing she mentioned in the interview was the pressure and shorter deadlines to produce what the fans wanted, more Harry!

"There were a couple of the Potters [that] I definitely knew that they needed another year. I had to write on the run and there were times when it was really tough.  And I read them, and I think 'Oh God, maybe I'll go back and do a director's cut', I don't know."

J.K. does have good news to share today! Her first adult novel was just released, which was already number one due to pre-order sales. The Casual Vacancy tells the story of class prejudices and tensions between the well-off and the poor that come to the fore in a small English town after the unexpected death of a member of the parish council.

"The poor are discussed as this homogeneous mash, like porridge. The idea that they might be individuals, and be where they are for very different, diverse reasons, again seems to escape some people."

Getting back to a possible spin-off of Harry, if that did happen, what would you like to see? And you can pick anything in the Harry Potter universe.
