I've traded doughnut holes for protein balls and I look and feel better than ever! I've been asked a million times by family members and co-workers what I'm doing differently with my eating habits because I've lost 16 pounds so far. So, I thought I'd share one of my recipes with you!

In the morning I used to eat whatever I wanted--eggs, bacon, pancakes, doughnuts, yogurt...you name it. But, now my morning routine is simple. I eat two protein balls everyday. This has been a huge help in my weight loss journey.

Here's the recipe;

1 cup of uncooked oat meal
1/2 cup of chunky peanut butter (I look for the unsalted kind with the highest NuVal number)
1 table spoon of honey
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips

That's it! Once you mix all of the ingredients together, you'll want to form them into tiny 1-inch balls. This recipe usually makes about 15-20 for me. I usually double my recipe because I go through them so fast. Put the protein balls in the fridge for awhile to set and enjoy! It's a good breakfast and a healthy snack to get some fast protein. My mom also makes these for my sisters who eat them after track practice--And they love them!
