I’ve Been Lying To Myself & You For 50 Years
WHAT COLOR ARE MY EYES?
Honestly…when I look at this picture, I see blue eyes. It’s not the true blue that my mother and my son Tanner have, but it’s still a shade of blue. My son Mason’s are more hazel, and my son Drew, I’m not sure. I’ve been lying to everyone for years on my driver’s license. What will happen when I get my license renewed and I change it to green? NO! I cant! It’s messing with my identity.
FACEBOOK RESULTS – YOU SAY “HAZEL?!” WHAT ABOUT GREY?
Chad and I posted this question to our listeners this morning, and overwhelmingly, the response was hazel!!!!! Although I love Hazel, I thought hazel was a shade of green? My eyes are NOT green. Now don’t get me wrong, I lOVE green eyes. But these eyes are NOT green. Look at the picture above. This is Grey. What do you think? I think Grey, which in my mind, is still a shade of blue. Should I change my driver’s license? Can you even put grey on it?
CAN OUR EYE COLOR CHANGE WITH AGE?
According to allaboutvision.com, eye color CAN change with age. It’s completely normal for 10-15% of the Caucasian population to have eye color changes, probably because of the light color of the eyes.
If you have DRASTIC change, then their could be a problem. If your eyes have changed dramatically, definitely find out if there is an underlying problem with your eye doctor.
