It’s On – Rapid River Days In Sauk Rapids!

The annual Rapid River Days Festival in Sauk Rapids begins today, and runs through Sunday, with an entire weekend of events in store.

The main event on Thursday is the Miss Sauk Rapids Scholarship Pageant, at 7pm in the SR-R High School Performing Arts Center.  More than $3,000 in scholarships and prizes will be awarded. Candidates are young women from Sauk Rapids or Rice who are juniors and seniors in high school. A Royalty Reception for visiting royalty and sponsors begins at 5 p.m. in the North Commons.

On Friday, MIX 94.9 will be in the parade, starting at 6pm.  Your dentist won't like the treats we have for you, but you will - Pearson's Salted Nut Rolls!  Enough said.

Saturday in Sauk Rapids, is all about the Rapids River Food Fest.  Municipal Park is certainly the place to be.  You'll see it all - from strong men, to racing duckies (quack quack) - plus tons of great food and live music.
