With all the buzz on the internet wondering who will play the leading man in the "50 Shades of Grey" movies, E.L. James is offering up her insight.

So many men have been "front runners" to play Christian Grey. Ryan Gosling is the latest rumor, and that all started with E. L.'s husband, Niall Leonard. He told Now Magazine that the last he heard, Ryan Gosling was going to play naughty billionaire Christian Grey. There's no direct quote from Niall, so this could just be a case of the tabloids doing what they love to do, making stuff up. Which looks like its the case, E. L. took to her Twitter to clarify all the rumors about the movie, tweeting:

"ALL CASTING NEWS NOT TRUE. ALL ARE RUMOURS AT THE MOMENT. YES, SHOUTY CAPITALS. GRRR...."

Oddly, that tweet has been taken down. Hmm... does this mean there could be SOME truth to that rumor? Even though no official cast announcements have been made with the rumors that are circulating, it is fun to fantasize about who would take the leading roles. While reading the book, I personally thought of Adam Levine (who was on Jay Leno last night) and myself (obviously) as the main characters.

Do you think E. L. James should get to pick the cast for the movie? Who would you cast at Christian Grey?
