New York, London, Milan, Paris, and now maybe Minneapolis for Fashion Week?! Forbes did an article on Minneapolis store Martin Patrick 3, that highlighted the business as the "hottest retailer, in America's hottest retailing city". The business is a Men's Lifestyle Store that obviously sells men's clothing, accessories, as well as furnishings for the home. It is located in Minneapolis' historic North Loop and is such a dynamic shopping experience that it is able to compete in an age where online shopping is king. Where other Downtown Minneapolis retailers felt that pinch (Macy's Bloomingdales, Sak's 5th Ave.), Martin Patrick 3 seems to have thrived. They keep getting bigger, and when those large retailers closed up shop, MP3 got first pick of their highly skilled sales people.

So why is Minneapolis the hot bed for men's high fashion? Think about all the corporate offices that call the Twin Cities home. Target, Best Buy, 3M, the list goes on and on. And all those companies need people to work for them, dressing like professionals. That's where Martin Patrick 3 comes in. They have the threads and the knowledgeable sales staff to handle the market, and it's only up from here! Who knows, maybe we will even see a Minnesota Fashion Week in the future!
