Ted

Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane

Summary: This is the story of John (Mark Wahlberg) and his best friend Ted (Seth MacFarlane), who just happens to be a teddy bear. Growing up without friends, John made a wish when he was nine to have his teddy bear come to life and become his best friend. Much to his delight, John’s wish comes true. Fast forward 26 years. John and Ted are still best friends, except now Ted is a crude, pot-smoking bear, who regularly has sex with prostitutes. John is in a committed relationship with Lori (Mila Kunis), who, after four years, is tired of waiting for John to finally grow up. Now John has to choose between staying with Ted or finally growing up and making a life with Lori.

Seth MacFarlane’s directorial debut is basically a live-action episode of Family Guy. That’s great news for the millions of fans out there who tune in each week to watch the show. The movie is full of the same raunchy, juvenile humor of the show; it’s just kicked up a notch. Anyone who is a fan of MacFarlane’s animated works will definitely get a kick out of this movie.
