Did you know that if you're a salaried employee you're working for free on leap day? It's true. Think about it--let's just say you make $20,000 a year. Last year, you made $20,000 to work 365 days. This year you're still going to make $20,000 but you're working 366 days. So, technically you're working for free today.

For those of you who don't think it's a big deal, consider this. If you're a factory worker, your company will make a profit on everything you produce that day...but, you won't make a dime more. Do you think salaried employees should get leap day off? I mean, it's only fair right?
