Home Destroyed in Meeker County Fire

MEEKER COUNTY - A fire destroyed a home in Meeker County on Tuesday night.

Authorities responded just after 7:00 p.m. in the 73000 block of County Road 27 in Kingston Township. Fire Departments arrived to find a house fully engulfed in flames.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says the home was unoccupied and is owned by 71-year-old Lloyd Ring of Blaine. The house is a total loss and the cause of the blaze is being investigated. Nobody was hurt during the incident.

The Dassel Fire Department, Litchfield Fire Department, Cokato Fire Department and Meeker County Deputies all responded to the scene.
