Hollywoods Highest Paid Actors
I really should have stayed in Drama Club. If you knew me personally, you would come to find out I have many sides to being Jade. Most often I'm quite goofy, like Jim Carey. But, for some reason, music and a microphone was more appealing than an actress.
Forbes.com came out with their annual list of the highest paid actors, and after seeing this list, I may move off to Hollywood like every other aspiring actor in the world.
Check out the Top 5 Highest Paid Actors
Mr. Hanks, surprisingly made $35 Million! His latest film, Larry Crowne raked in $100 Million, which was way less than they hoped for. Never the less, Tom still get plenty of dough voicing Woody in Toy Story. Toy Story 3 was the highest-grossing animated movie of all time! Tom's next roll will be starring opposite Sandra Bullock in Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
Mr. Smith and his $36 Million can come on over and share the wealth! Although, he has put his career on hold for a hot second to focus on his kids careers. He produced Karate Kid, which featured his son Jaden. He is also developing a remake of Annie for his pop star daughter Willow. Will's next role will be for Men in Black III, in theaters May of 2012.
More surprising than Tom Hanks being in the top 5 Highest Paid Actors is Adam Sandler. Granted he's been in a lot of movies, but they are never really high-grossing films. None the less, we love him and support his goofy and crazy funny roles! He's my favorite actor on this list! His most recent film, Just Go With It earned $215 Million.
Argh, Captain Jack Sparrow! $50 Million dollars to not shower for months on end, or look like it. I'll take it! Johnny puts his own spin on every role and knocks them out of the park. Whether he's voicing a chameleon, or chugging down some Rum, his movies bring in the big bucks! On tap for Mr. Depp, a film version of the cult TV show Dark Shadows, which will be directed by Tim Burton.
If I had to choose which pay check to collect from this list, obviously it would be Leo's $77 Million. Granted I wasn't a fan of him when I was younger, but the older he gets, the better he Actor he becomes, in my opinion. Between Shutter Island and Inception, DiCaprio had an excellent 2010. But later this year he'll star in J. Edgar, a film about the famous FBI director. Clint Eastwood directs which means the film is already getting Oscar buzz.
