GLOBAL MARKETING DIRECTOR

If making money, and lots of it, is something you aspire to do, you may want to consider becoming a Global Marketing Director. What do GMD's do? That depends. Your duties can vary, but mostly you are in charge of a particular companies marketing on a worldwide basis. SO being skilled at business strategy is a key element in obtaining this position.  You will be working with all of the companies department heads, and driving the direction of it's global growth.

EARNINGS

According to payscale.com, you can earn up to $200,000 a year.  GMD's usually working in an office setting, but typically some traveling is involved, and you'll be reporting to the Director of Marketing.

If you are creative and clever, you will develop, design, and implement your brand to a global audience! Talk about a big responsibility! In most cases, you'll have a team of marketing associates that will implement your ideas.

Those who qualify to be a GMD, could be Program Managers, Marketing Consultants, or involved in Product Marketing.  A GMD who has 20 years of experience, is going to be on the higher end off the pay spectrum, where a new GMD with 0-5 years of experience will start out around $80,000 a year.
