The Big Squeeze Cafe hopes to have a positive impact on the community by offering unique and healthy drinks. Their smoothies have flavors ranging from pecan pie to peanut butter and jelly.

"You get this tingling feeling after you drink it because you've had something in your body that makes you feel good," manager Wana Wauna says.

The cafe opened earlier this month in the former Paneer Flatbread location in the Centennial Plaza strip mall on Veterans Drive.  Wauna says they emphasize making their drinks and food right in front of you.

"Not a lot of people like to see things behind closed doors. They see us doing what we're supposed to do: making them healthy and good smoothies."

They plan to expand their food selection in the near future with more international options. The smoothies and juices are all created with no added sugars or sweeteners. Their website says their smoothies are an innovative response to an emergent food trend focused on fresh ingredients, elevated nutrition and superfoods.

"It's just a really good feeling when you get a customer coming in telling you 'Yes!-I'm so happy you guys opened this. This is the first time I've seen something like this in St. Cloud.' We just love hearing that," Wauna says.

The Big Squeeze is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. They are open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturdays and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. You can find them at 2104 Veterans Drive.
