Tommy Vee joined the Get Up & Go Show this morning to announce the replacement for Buckcherry at Halfway Jam. With less than two weeks before the annual music festival in Royalton kicks off, organizers were scrambling to find a group to take the place of headline act Buckcherry.

Lots of names were being tossed around including "All That Remains" and "Scott Weiland former lead singer "Stone Temple Pilots". In the end, contemporary christian rockers Skillet were selected. The group's been putting out records since 1996, and headlining stages around the world. Skillet's latest album 'Rise' is available on iTunes.
