Everyone's looking to save a buck or two nowadays and a lot of women are looking to discount retailers to help them out. More and more of my friends and relatives are especially cutting spending on those little "extras" like regular salon visits and department store makeups. Here are some excellent cheap alternatives that all cost less than $10.

    e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner

The eyeliner I used to use was $28 because I was tricked into thinking that was how much I had to spend to get good eyeliner that would stay put. Wow, was I wrong. e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner is perfect if you're a fan of the trendy winged eyeliner look. It comes with a brush and the best part is that it's $3.

    Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads

Smooth on one side, and textured on the other, you get both cleaning and exfoliating. They're great for taking off your makeup at night before you go to bed. They're way less messy than a cream cleanser and splashing your face with water. I feel like I'm in a birdbath when I do that. Aveeno has a whole host of cleaning, toning and moisturizing products and they're all pretty good. My dermatologist recommended them when I had some skin trouble a couple of years ago. It costs about $10 and works just as well as the $25 department store cleansers. (Honorable mention - Andrea EyeQ's Makeup Remover Pads.)

    Cetaphil Skin Cleanser

If you have sensitive skin like I do, Cetaphil works wonders. You can literally use it from your nose to your toes. It's sulfate free so it doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils and doesn't disturb the natural ph balance of your skin. Cetaphil has a whole line of skin care products for every type of skin out there. I had an allergic reaction to medication and my other body wash was irritating it so I went to the dermatologist and he urged me to use this. It's about $10 at your favorite drug store.

    Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

This stuff is amazing. It stays put, it's all natural, it works and it's not expensive. I have a lipstick that has a tendency to dry out my lips, but I love it, and I always put Burt's Bees on underneath this particular lipstick and it works wonders. Burt's Bees makes the regular lip balm, but they also have one with sunscreen in it and it's awesome for summer. They also make a Burt's Bees with pomegranate oil that has a little shine to it, and they also have moisturizing lip gloss that's fantastic, too. The best part? It's $3.
