Mix 94.9 along with Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio in Waite Park will be stopping by a couple of area middle schools with Grant Landis. Residing in the small town of Joplin in the southwest corner of Missouri, 15-year-old singer / songwriter Grant Landis is taking the music world by storm.

Starting with piano lessons for two years before picking up a guitar in sixth grade, Grant decided music was his calling. With strong influences from John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, Grant decided that his path was to become more than just a flash in the pan pop artist.

As a young 12-year-old writer, his first original song was, "In This Moment," co-written with songwriters Brian Maher and Rich McCready. The song garnered more than 470,000 YouTube views propelling him towards his next goal.

Most recently in Nashville recording his EP with some of the industries biggest writers and producers like Keith Thomas (more than 20 #1 singles) and Andrew Fromm (Backstreet Boys, Marc Anthony, Jessie McCartney, Westlife) he is destined to set himself apart from the pack at such an early age.

Grant is now looking forward to his first solo headlining tour called Bedtime Stories. This 20 city tour kicks off this Friday, February 27th and will bring him up close and personal with his fans, allowing them to have an intimate concert experience. His stop at 514 Studios in Minneapolis is almost sold out. For tickets and VIP information, click HERE.

Grant will visit both North Junior High and Stride Academy in St. Cloud on Friday, March 13th. The kids will be treated to an exclusive acoustic performance along with a Q&A hosted by Chad Taylor and Melinda Tamm.
