Getting Excited as an Adult Has Changed – Dramatically – From Being a Young Adult

Stop me if you've heard this before. You know you're getting old when a beer party doesn't excite you as much as getting NEW DOORS put in!!!

I still love my beer party, that's not going anywhere, but the new deck door that Tony's Lifetime Exteriors put in, got me pretty pumped up.

The old deck door was, old, had a rotting frame and put in BACKWARDS!? You could have lifted the door off the track and walked into my house (and been met by my bat) but not with the new door.

Not the new door. She's cute and not drafty... I love the new door, but when did a door get me as pumped up as going to drink beer? Parenting.
