ST. CLOUD - Gerry Keymer is no stranger to volunteering besides hosting bingo nights at Ridgeview Place in Sauk Rapids and helping out with a children's reading program at the Eastside Boys and Girls Club. He is also a Step Force Volunteer at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Keymer has been volunteering at the hospital for 12 years he says he loves volunteering because he enjoys helping people, it gets him out during the winter season and he gets to exercise as he volunteers.

"I can come here and walk my legs off helping people find what they need to find--it seems like it's a win win for everybody." - Keymer

Step Force Volunteers help transport patients to different areas of the hospital, deliver flowers and also help visitors find their way around the hospital.

The St. Cloud Hospital offers more than 100 different volunteer positions. To get more information on how you can volunteer visit CentraCare.com or stop by the volunteer office inside the St. Cloud Hospital.
