It doesn't matter if you like the Gay Men's Chorus of LA's cover of "Work Bitch" by Britney Spears, because Britney likes it enough for the rest of us.

The chorus performed the track on Saturday (June 20), and while it may seem like an odd choice for a professional men's choir, the group has previously performed a number of pop songs in the past, including a mashup of Adele's "Rumor Has It" and "Someone Like You," and Taylor Swift's "Mean." So, singing a reworked pop song isn't brand-new territory for the group, but it's not everyday that the pop star whose song you're covering is in the audience while you perform. And even if they are, they're probably not of living legend status, so who cares, right?

According to the group's YouTube page, Britney was in attendance when they performed "Work Bitch," which we imagine put added pressure on the dancers and vocalists. Wouldn't you rather crawl inside a gas tank and light a match than face the possibility of disappointing a celebrity?

But Britney apparently loved the GMCLA's version of "Work Bitch" so much that she led the standing ovation following their performance. Their YouTube comment read, "Ms. Spears attended the Saturday night show (theater Security was on alert), dressed down to avoid detection. She had a great time while remaining completely under the radar, was among the first to lead the standing ovation, and strolled out with the audience at the end, undetected."
