True love knows no bounds, but can it survive a primetime TV cancellation and subsequent Netflix acquisition?

Full House, which ran on ABC from 1987 to 1995, will see new life as Fuller House on Netflix next year. The premise is a bit dark: D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), who originally played the network show's do-gooder older sister, will be a widowed mother of two with a third son on the way, and her sister, Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and best friend, Kimmy (Andrea Barber), will move in to help lighten the load. And while it's love lost for D.J., her uncle, Jesse, and his wife, Becky, will still be going strong, actor John Stamos revealed on Instagram Monday (July 27).

"Becky and Jesse together forever," Stamos captioned the photo above, in which his hand and Lori Loughlin's—both outfitted with wedding bands—lovingly touch. Plus, according to IMDB, the fictional couple's twin sons Nicky and Alex will be back, as actors Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit and Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit will appear for at least one episode.

And, when the story picks up, D.J.'s father, Danny, will have been struck by Cupid's arrow, as actress Eva LaRue confirmed on Twitter that she'll play the compulsively neat character's new wife, Teri. According to TV Guide, she'll have "quite an appetite for Danny and isn't afraid to shower him with affection."

Though it was originally rumored that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who collectively played Danny's youngest daughter, Michelle, will not reprise their roles, Entertainment Weekly reported today (July 28) that the door is still open.

"The Olsen twins are teetering [on] whether or not they’ll be around," Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said, according to the site. "There’s a bunch of opportunity for them if they choose to."
