From a Designer Dress to Legos, Here are Five Things You Can Actually Rent
Here is the list of weird things you can rent instead of buy that we talked about this morning on the Get Up & Go Show.
1. Legos. Pley.com rents Lego sets for as low as $15 a month, with free shipping. And every time you send one back, you get a new set.
2. Designer dresses. RentTheRunway.com lets you rent stuff for up to eight days. Then you send it back, and they have it dry cleaned it. A $500 dress costs around $30 to rent, and you can also rent all the accessories.
3. Artwork. TurningArt.com rents paintings for as low as $10 a month, includes free shipping. You just send them back when you want to, like Netflix.
4. Goats. RentAGoat.com is for people who want an eco-friendly way to clear weeds and grass. Instead of mowing it, the goats just eat it all.
5. Wedding cakes. On CakeRental.com, you can rent a Styrofoam cake that's covered in real icing. They mail it to you, and there's a section cut out where you put a real slice of cake to cut and eat for pictures.
