Former “Baywatch” Star Donna D’Errico Injured Her Face and Leg While Looking for Noah’s Ark

This is such a crazy story, some may not believe it. But it's true and there are pictures to prove it.

Former Baywatch star Donna D'Errico injured her face and leg. Donna was trying to find Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat in Turkey. She's wanted to find the Ark since she was a little girl. While we don't know the full details on how she was injured, she shared her photos with TMZ and said she fell down the mountain.

Donna was part of a crew that is searching for Noah's Ark and for a previous explorer who disappeared during his own search two years ago. The crew was trying to make a documentary of their hunt, but they didn't have a film crew. They were worried Donna would be kidnapped during their search due to her fame. There are Kurdish rebels in the region who want their own independent state, and they've been known to kidnap tourists.

Donna did return home last night for fear of her safety.

"I'm just glad to be home, I found a lot of information. I've just always wanted to climb Mt. Ararat and search for Noah's Ark ... and I know  everybody thinks it's funny and it's a big joke and people don't believe in it ... but I do ... and I've wanted to do it ever since I was a kid."
