FOLEY -- The Foley movie theater closed it's doors on Thursday.

According to the Brickhouse Cinema Facebook page the theater has officially closed.

The theater's Facebook page says for five years owners have been working hard to keep the theater going but couldn't sustain the business.

"Between the lack of foot traffic, the interruption of road construction, the increase in minimum wage, the expensive change over to digital equipment, and most of all, the long droughts of films that just don’t work well in our town, we’ve been unable to keep the business afloat." -Brickhouse Cinema Facebook

Brickhouse Cinema owners have declined to comment on the closing of the theater. Calls from WJON to the owners have gone unanswered.
