* AT 600 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. THIS AREA RECEIVED 3 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN THIS MORNING...AND CURRENT ROUND OF STORMS WILL PRODUCE ANOTHER 1 TO 3 INCHES THROUGH THE NEXT 2 TO 3 HOURS.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...LONG PRAIRIE AND SAUK CENTRE.

MANY AREAS OF NORTHERN STEARNS COUNTY HAD FLOODING WITH RAINFALL THIS MORNING...AND SOILS REMAIN SATURATED WITH THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL GOING STRAIGHT TO RUNOFF. THIS WILL LIKELY LEAD TO FURTHER FLASH FLOODING OF WATER IN LOW LYING AREAS AND RISES ON AREA CREEKS AND STREAMS.
