The folks at First Avenue nailed it with their Facebook post honoring Prince. First Avenue launched many artists including Prince and The Revolution. The Minneapolis nightclub also appeared in the 1984 film "Purple Rain." Take a look at some of the concert footage in this trailer for the movie.
