I was thinking this morning, about how easy it is to fall into a routine of nothingness...In my mind I always want to get back to doing things that I love. I watch others living life outloud..but my life tends to be work, supper and then just going to bed.  Even if I'm NOT tired... I can't stay focused on one thing long enough to take a break and figure out something to be passionate about anymore. There's so many things I WANT to do....but I can't get organized enough to do ANY of it.  Then...I'm depressed...Feeling like I'm wasting my life away.

So I was researching on line to see what I can do to get out of the slump.  Here's some ideas I found to help you and I live life to the fullest.

TAKE AN INVENTORY OF YOUR TALENTS

There might be things that you are really good at that you don't enjoy.  If that's the case, then don't dig out those talents.  But you might find out by searching what you might WANT to do, that you have a passion for learning how to dance, paint, take pictures...Whatever it is...make time to learn it, perfect it and start living your dreams out loud.  Just get started by making 15 minutes a day, to write down, or observe things that you think you might like to try.

AVOID THOSE PEOPLE THAT MAKE YOU JEALOUS AND ANNOYED

One of the hardest things for me to do is to ignore negative comments from people that are close to me.  The recommendation is to stay focused on what makes YOU happy...not Aunt Angry, your  best friend Butthead, or your cousin Crabby.

LIVE OR LET LIVE

My mom is always worried about me finding time to do the crazy things that I think of...so when she gets nervous about me trying to do too much, I tend to listen to her, and then I don't do anything. But that depresses me.  That's not ME.  I like to get TOO involved sometimes...but I think getting too involved is better than not living at all...which is how I feel on the other end.

THINK OF WHAT YOU LOVED TO DO AS A CHILD TO FIND YOUR PASSIONS

If you are having trouble figuring out what you might like to do that would bring you joy...then think about what made you happy.  Did you like to color?  Paint?  Make sand castles?  Whatever it was, let it help you figure out what you are passionate about today and start doing something.  Even if it's silly...You don't have to become a pro at it to make yourself happy.
