I don't exactly know how to categorize this, to be quite honest.  It's  funny, sad, odd, original, and yet very disturbing in many ways.

Question?  Would you ever want to see your mom, aunt, sister, or even your grandmother - get in the ring and wrestle someone in a real match?

If you're like me, your first question would be,"How much is Aunt Sandi gettin' paid to get her butt thoroughly kicked in front of thousands of people?"

How about $10.

That's right, I did not forget a zero at the end, there.  Ten bucks.  This is not happening in the U.S. - not yet at least.  But housewives looking to earn some extra cash in Mexico are donning masks and fancy costumes to step into the wrestling ring.

Women from low income families are earning their living by smashing each other to the canvas on a regular basis. They are paid $10 to $200 per bout.

Don't laugh - that's actually a pretty good gig in Mexico - where the average annual salary is at $6,000.

The best thing about "La Lucha Libra" wrestling - is that it has become an important outlet for victims of domestic violence.

So, if you are a housewife that could use a little extra cash, it may be time to start working on those wrestling moves -- and the costume, mask, cape, etc.  LOL
