If you think tech is moving WAY too fast for us backwards Earthlings, then stop reading now, because this story might just make your head explode- with coolness.

The Consumer Electronics Show (commonly called CES by the media) wrapped in Vega$ a couple of weeks ago, and as with all technological advancements, it's taking some time for the really cool stuff to filter out.

In the past when tech and food has been combined, the results have been mixed. It's hard to top the microwave in that category, and remember the idea about irradiating food before it hits the store shelves? (Odd that we would irradiate it after we bought it, but that's a discussion for the tree-huggers.) But this time, it's not really the food that's the victim of the tech-infusion.

A company called eCoupled had several products in their booth at the Sin City showcase for the jackals of Madison Avenue, but one was the hit of the show and quite frankly, I have to agree it was jaw-dropping.

Upon seeing the video, I had an a-ha moment. This innovative little company has found a way to turn the packaging of our favorite prioducts into virtual neon signs. Looking at their spread in the booth is like looking down into Times' Square. Blinking, light-up cereal packaging. Brilliant.

These guys at eCoupled have really tapped into what makes us take notice- and it's bright, shiny, blinking objects! Check out the video below- and be careful not to bump your head on your computer or mobile screen as you are drawn, trance and moth-like, to it's pretty light.
