ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud mobile home park is planning to close at the end of the summer.

The owners of Shady Oaks mobile home park, 4263 County Road 134 in St. Cloud, have begun the process to close the park.

During tonight's (Wednesday) Le Sauk Township meeting, the board approved the hiring of Dan Wilson of Wilson Development Services, as a neutral third party to help in the closing process.

Residents were given notice of the closure in December, which complies with the state required nine month notice.

Wilson says before the park can officially close, a public hearing needs to be held 60 days before the official closing date scheduled for August 15th.

A tentative public hearing as been set for June 14th at 7:30 p.m. at the Le Sauk Township Hall, pending approval from the parks attorney.

Wilson was hired by Waite Park to assist in the closing of the Tri-County Mobile Home.

Shady Oaks has 16 mobile homes on the 10 acre site. It is unknown what will be going into the location.
