We have all heard the sound of sirens late at night or early in the morning, but usually you hear the sirens start to fade. That wasn't the case last night.

Early this morning, I heard the sirens, but they were getting louder and louder. Then I saw the lights of police cars, fire trucks and an ambulance shining into my bedroom window.

I got up to see what was going on, and down the road, I saw (what I thought was) a house engulfed in flames. It was a scary sight... I've never even been that close to a house fire before. The falmes were very high, as you can see in some of the pictures I took below.

It turns out it was a garage that caught fire and everybody who lives at the resident is (thankfully) o.k. St. Cloud Fire Department, Police and EMS were on scene and you could hear them working fast, hard and with a sense of urgency. Hearing them from down the road Our sister station, 1240-AM WJON, has more on what happened HERE.
