Don’t Miss Daughtry @ The Mix Summer Spectacular!

I had the chance to meet up with the guys from Daughtry while they were in Minneapolis last weekend.  I was invited by my friends at RCA Records and attended the exclusive VIP experience which included the bands sound check.  I was impressed with how easy music came to these guys and how excited the fans were to be in their presence.  These are not just fans but "die hards".  They know everything about the band and some even travel around the country, seeing most of the shows on Daughtry's current tour.

Daughtry are touring in support of their new album "Break The Spell" and will make our Mix Summer Spectacular the last stop on the North American Leg.  The bands new single "Outta My Head" is heating up the Billboard charts and the video is a staple on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown.  The group is fronted by American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry.  He appeared on season 5 of Idol and placed 4th among that cast. 

Daughtry's self titled debut became the fastest selling debut rock album in history, selling more than one million copies after just five weeks of  its release.  Since then they've racked up a dozen hits like "Home", "September", "Its Not Over" and "No Suprise".  Hear all those hits and more on August 18th w/ the Mix Summer Spectacular at the Halfway Jam grounds in Royalton.  Other acts on this end of summer bash include "Boyz II Men", "Neon Trees" and "Midnight Red".  We also have special appearance from 98 Degrees founder and heartthrob Jeff Timmons and newcomers "F.A.M".
