The search continues for missing Bemidji woman, Rose Downwind and now the family has tapped the friend of Downwind's grandfather, Duane Chapman.

Chapman, better known by many as "Dog The Bounty Hunter" from his popular TV show on A&E and the family's follow up show "Dog and Beth: On The Hunt", that airs on CMT, will join the search in northern Minnesota as a favor to Downwind’s grandfather, Dennis Banks, a friend of Chapman and noted Ojibwe leader.

31-year-old, Rose Downwind went missing on the morning of October 21, 2015, according to Bemidji Police Chief Mike Mastin.

Downwind may have gotten into a blue vehicle. She was last seen wearing black pants and a blue sweater, according to Mastin.

Downwind's ex-boyfriend says he saw her leave her residence and get into a blue vehicle. She has five children.

Anyone with information regarding Rose Downwind’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Bemidji Police Department at 218-333-9111.
