DO YOU TAKE VACATION DAYS JUST TO GET SOME SLEEP?

It sounds like a horrible idea, right? You only get two weeks a year...maybe three...You can't be sick, you can't be tired, you can't....If you want to take a family vacation or have any time to be off for a significant period of time.

But....a lot of us DO take time off just to catch up on sleep. A new survey found that 72% of people take off at least one day a year, just to catch up on sleep. 40% take of at least 5 days to get extra rest! Do those numbers sound high to you? Are we overworked? Working more than one job? Is it all work and no play?

The other reasons we take off included:

  • Family emergencies.
  • Doctors or Dentist visits.
  • Take care of sick family members.
  • Complete projects around the house.
  • To run errands.

OHER REASONS OUR MIXERS GAVE INCLUDED:

  • Takiing care of sick pets.
  • To go school shopping.
  •  A fight with a family member or spouse.
  • Angry at a co-worker.
