I had one rule when I first adopted my dog from the Tri-County Humane Society, and that was that he wasn't allowed to sleep in bed with me. I adopted Norman a little over a month ago and this is what I woke up to this morning:

His fluff blends in with the blanket's fluff.

My little guy had nested into my blanket last night while I slept, hoping I wouldn't notice him breaking my one rule.

According to the pet side of WebMD, having your pet sleep in your bed shouldn't affect your health as long as you don't suffer from pet related allergies or asthma. There are even some medicinal qualities to having your furry friend share the bed! Some people feel safer and more calm with their pets in bed with them.

So maybe having Norman sleep with me isn't the end of the world! Does your pet sleep in bed with you? Let me know in the poll!
