ST. CLOUD - District 742 is hosting a listening session on Tuesday regarding the future of the Tech High School campus.

The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Tech High School Cafeteria. Ideas and options for the current Tech campus will be discussed from a community, school, business, historic and student perspective.

The question being explored will be: "What role will this campus play in the future of greater St. Cloud?"

Ideas to build apartments, businesses or other school buildings has been tossed around by the public. The district has made no announcement on any specific future plans for the site.

The St. Cloud area school district voted in December to build a new Tech High School at a location on 33rd Street South. The decision to build a new school will ultimately come down to the voters in the fall.

They are also planning to make extensive renovations at Apollo High School if the vote passes.

Some Lake George neighborhood residents have voiced concerns about the future of the current building if a new Tech is built.
