MEEKER COUNTY - A Meeker County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested for allegedly taking drugs from a County drop box and toys from a recent toy drive.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says Deputy Travis Sebring was investigated after it was believed he was taking drugs from the Meeker County drug take back box. A search warrant was used on his home.

Evidence of the drug take back theft and a small amount of marijuana were found. Investigation also revealed that Sebring allegedly took toys from a toy drive that were stored in the Meeker County Court House over Christmas.

Sebring was arrested just after 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night and is being held on pending criminal charges. The Renville County Sheriff's Office is helping with the criminal investigation.

Investigation is ongoing; however, at this time there's no evidence that any other employees were involved.
