I found the most humorous article this morning, and I just had to share it with you. See if these health tips can help you in your journey to stay healthy.

CHANGING YOUR NAME CAN CHANGE THE LENGTH OF YOUR LIFE

This sounds crazy right?  People with positive initials spell positive words like F.U.N.,   J.O.Y., OR  W.O.W. live longer than people with initials that spell things like D.E.D, I.L.L, or  R.I.P.  People that have names whose initials spell out something positive, typically live 4 and 1/2 years longer than people with neutral initials. People with negative initials typically live 3 years less!  Hmmmm....K.A.C?   K.A.J?.....Would that be like Case or Cage? Hmmm...Maybe I should change my name!

USE THE FIRST STALL IN A PUBLIC RESTROOM

Studies show that the bathroom stall closest to the door typically has the least amount of bacteria, and the most toilet paper. I'm assuming people want their privacy so they typically go to the farthest place from the door. Oh. And just a special note: When you flush, make sure you stand up first. Flushing toilets send off a fine mist than can get on your precious rear end, and give you things like intestinal bugs and hepatitis. Agh! I never want to go in public again!

DON'T USE YOUR AGE AS AN EXCUSE

Researchers studied how young and old people perceive misplacing their car keys. They found that younger people are more likely to blame someone for their keys missing, where older people blame themselves for misplacing them. The trick here is to NEVER blame yourself for something because of your age, and see if it doesn't keep you younger....longer.

SCRATCH THE OTHER LIMB

This is a great idea. If you've got a broken arm or leg and can't get to that particularly itchy spot, try scratching the opposite limb. This can sometimes trick your brain into thinking that you are actually scratching that itch you can't reach.

HOW TO BREAK A HIGH FEVER

Fevers that are 102 or below can be treated by drinking lots of water and fluids. However, if you have a fever that's above 102, try using an ice pack under your arm, or near your groin. It can be quite cold and uncomfortable, but if you need to get that fever down, it works. Then make sure you get to the doctor for some long term help.

GET A DOG

If you are prone to high blood pressure, petting your dog can help lower it.

GET RID OF YOUR MUSTACHE AND YOU'LL SNIFF LESS

If you are allergy prone and wear a mustache, shave it off...or wash it twice a day with liquid soap. Cleaning it will help get rid of any pollen that may be stuck.

HOW TO STRAIGHTEN YOUR BACK ON A DRIVE

Pretend that someone took a cold glass of ice water and poured it down the back of your shirt. The way we automatically put our shoulders back and straighten out, is the way we should be driving, and sitting all the time.
