Could This Be the World’s Most Obvious DWI?

Drunk driving isn't funny, but DWI arrests don't get easier than this.

Over the weekend in Newton, North Carolina, the police had set up random drunk driving checks and a red Chevy Camaro was driving down the street. The driver was a 21 year old man named Douglas Southard from Hickory, North Carolina and he just happened to be drunk.

He apparently didn't see the giant bus that the police had set up as a mobile command center and drunkenly crashed his car right into it. In the crime scene photos, his Camaro is literally wedged under the rear end of the bus.

Douglas was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries and then he was taken to jail where he was booked and charged with driving after revocation, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and of course driving while intoxicated.
