Community Gardening Day Is This Saturday

Grab your trowel, gloves and watering can- This Saturday is Community Gardening Day and SCSU is getting down and dirty in their meticulously maintained, expansive community garden.
The event isn’t just limited to Saint Cloud community gardens, it’s a nationwide event.

According to the Minnesota-based Gardening Matters blog;

Community Garden Day is an opportunity to recognize the thousands of volunteer hours that your neighbors, family members, and fellow gardeners put in each year to make these community green spaces possible. It's also a way to learn directly from community gardeners about these community spaces, and to get to know your neighborhood or city a little better in the process.

As you may know we’re all VERY into the gardening and veggie growing here at MIX 94.9 and we encourage you to stop out to the event being held at SCSU this Saturday.
