ST. CLOUD -- You can get Holiday decorating ideas, enjoy the view and give to a good cause this weekend.

The Zonta Club is hosting their 27th annual Zonta Christmas House showing on Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Each year the organization decorates an area home for Christmas. The home is open for two days and showcases different Holiday decorating ideas.

Organizer Debra Kellerman says the house will feature designs from 15 local decorators and each room will be decorated with a different color scheme.

"Every year we don't make a requirement of what you need to do in your room. So it might end up being that your favorite colors for this year are maroon and silver, so you might see a room that's completely transformed into those colors. Or the blues have been coming back, sometimes it's the red and green traditional."

This year's Zonta Christmas House will be on the west side of St. Cloud at 1701 Casselberry Road.

Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 in advance at Crafts Direct, all area Cashwise and Coborn's stores and Westside Liquor in Waite Park.

Kellerman says all the proceeds go to support programs to help women and children.

"Our mission and vision has always been to eradicate violence against women so the money that we raise in this service organization goes to Anna Maries [Alliance], which is a shelter in town and it also goes to Journey Home."

Anna Maries Alliance provides resources to women and their children who are victims of domestic abuse. Journey Home is a program that helps mothers who are battling an addiction, overcome their addiction and become better parents.
