Cheese Curd Festival Kicks Off Saturday In Brooten

Alright, so I was listening to our sister station AM 1240 WJON the other day. There was a woman on the air talking about the cheese curd festival in Brooten this Saturday.

I'm a fellow cheese curd LOVER. That's pretty much the only reason I go to any small town festivals in the summer...food trucks with cheese curds. I don't think I need to say more.

Redhead Creamery in Brooten, Minnesota is hosting its first ever curd festival this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Regular curds and deep fried curds will be available in a variety of flavors. There will also be live music along with beer and cider sampling. A food truck will also be on-site with other food options for purchase.

Tickets cost $5 for anyone 12 years and older. Kids under 12 years are free to attend.
