Magic Mike or no, there simply haven’t been enough occasions for Channing Tatum or Jenna Dewan Tatum to dance in recent years, let alone together, and NBC desperately seeks to rectify that. The two will shepherd a “fresh take” on a new NBC reality dance competition, both appearing and starring.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, has issued a six-episode pickup to the untitled dance show, which will feature Dewan Tatum will as a judge and mentor, with husband and former co-star Tatum set to appear occasionally (though likely not as a judge). Details aren’t terribly prevalent on the series, format or otherwise, though the words “fresh take” on the dance competition genre have been tossed around for the hour-long series.

The program also marks NBC’s latest foray into the dance genre, while Dewan Tatum started her career backup dancing for Janet Jackson, later working with Christina Aguilera and others. Dewan even starred in the 2006 Step Up alongside a then-unknown Tatum, before the two married in 2009.

You can see the chemistry for yourself in the couple’s Lip-Sync Battle appearance below, and stay tuned for more details.
