If you would like to honor the men and women who gave their lives for our country there are a handful of Memorial Day events planned around the area this weekend.

The State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls is hosting its annual service on Sunday. It begins at 1:30 p.m. with music, and the traditional Parade of Flags.

The Rice American Legion will hold three ceremonies on Monday. The first is at 9:30 a.m. at the Langola Township Cemetery. At 10:30 a.m. they'll be at the Rice Memorial Monument. And at 11:20 a.m. the ceremony will be held at the Graham United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Their will be a community Memorial Mass at Assumption Cemetery, 2341 Roosevelt Rd., in St. Cloud on Monday at 9am. Bring a lawn chair and if the weather turns bad the service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Waldon Way, St. Cloud.

Memorial Day will also be observed at the St. Cloud VA on Monday. There's a parade at 10:30 a.m., and an outdoor ceremony at 11:00 a.m.

Metro Vets and the St. Cloud VA encourage all citizens to participate in the National Moment of Remembrance, and pause for one minute at 3:00 p.m.
