A record shattering 4.08 inches of rain officially fell at the St. Cloud Regional Airport last (Monday) night. That sets a new record for the date. The previous record was 2.03 set back in 2014.

UPDATE: Excessive Heat Warning Continues Today

Dangerous heat will develop today as highs reach well into the 90s along with dew points in the high 70s. This will result in afternoon heat indices from 100 to 110 degrees. The winds will become northerly tonight ushering in lower dew points. Even though it will be hot again on Friday, the lower dew points will only yield heat indices in the 95 to 100 degree range.
