A quiet weather pattern will shift into a wet one midweek as a low pressure system tracks across the area. Rain will develop Tuesday afternoon, become heavy at times over southeast MN Tuesday night, then taper off Wednesday morning.
There are more reports of damage in Morrison County after a tornado ripped through the area on Wednesday night. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says they received calls of storm damage at Laurie's Lakeside Resort just after 11:00 p.m.
Storms knocked down roofs, trees and damaged vehicles throughout the garrison areas of the National Guard's Camp Ripley Training Center. A damage survey was conducted. It was concluded to be a weak tornado of EF-1 rating.
The Foley Police Department was called to the 200 block of Highway 23 last (Monday) night after 10:00 p.m. for a report of a stalled car in the water on the road. Officers found several cars trying to travel on Highway 23.
A line of thunderstorms moved through north-central Minnesota early Thursday morning. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Eastern Todd County and Western Morrison County.
