When we think of fall, several things come immediately to mind -- cooling temperatures, turning leaves, costumes, candy and turkey dinner. But nothing evokes the season more than pumpkin pie, especially with a generous dollop of waist-expanding whipped cream. With its velvety texture and rich flavor, what's not to love?

The internet has been having a lot of fun with the Mars Curiosity Rover landing. There were a whole bunch of memes. And, of course, there’s mohawk guy Bobak Ferdowsi, who’s successfully bridged the gap between geek and punk.
But the real fun is going to begin when we start to getting hold of more of the photos and videos Curiosity is going to beam back to earth.
In 1982, John Wardlaw was joined by four of his high school buddies at his family’s cabin in Copco Lake, California. During their retreat the five friends, who were all about 19, shot a group photo using a self-timing camera.
They didn’t think much of it at the time, but when they all found themselves at the cabin again five years later they decided to recreate the photo. Thus began a tradition that has been repeated every five years since.
‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ star Christian Bale showed he has the values instilled in Bruce Wayne when he made a personal visit to Aurora, CO, yesterday to meet with the victims of last week’s horrific movie theater shooting.
