It is a bitter sweet weekend for the St. Cloud Area dance community. Carnivale Revolver, St. Cloud's premier burlesque revue, is saying "farewell" this Thursday and Friday (March 1st and 2nd) at Pioneer Place in Downtown. The Facebook event describes it as a bitter sweet goodbye:

It is with the most bitter sweet of hearts we say Ciao (for now) at Carnivale Revolver. March marks the FIFTH YEAR celebration of St Cloud’s premier Burlesque and Vaudeville revue...but the time has come to put the show on the shelf.

There will be a total of three shows to wrap up the production. On Thursday, Vaudeville Voila! will take the stage at 7:30 PM (doors at 7 PM) for a night of variety. There will be aerialists, burlesque, contortion, silent comedy, singing, and dancing. Tickets are $15 for the show and can be purchased here.

Friday night is a double feature! Two shows to send out Carnivale Revolver with a bang! Doors for the first show at 6:30 PM, show at 7 PM, and then doors will reopen at 9:30 PM for the 10 PM show. Tickets for the farewell production range from $20-$25 and can be purchased here!

As with anything, there is always a time to say goodbye, but of course the closing of a door usually opens a window. And if I know Scarlette Revolver, her next project will be even bigger and better! Thank you Carnivale Revolver for your contributions to the St. Cloud art scene the past 5 years! We can't wait to see these last shows!
