Let's start this, potential, relationship off on a pile of lies.

Survey says (in Steve Harvey's voice)! A new survey found 61% of people admit they LIE on the first date. Good way to get things started... that means three out of every five times you go out with someone new, they're not going to be totally honest with you.

It goes both ways, men lie and women lie, but about different things.

The most common lie that women tell is about how old they are. Ladies usually shave off three to five years... now we're in a relationship, your birthday is tomorrow and I bought a card that says "Happy 30th" and your 35... that's great.

Men, we're not any better.

The most common lie that men tell is about how much money they make. We're always trying to show off. Men, on average, claim to be about 20% richer than they actually are. So, ladies, when you're expecting a nice dinner and a movie on your third date and your guy shows up with a frozen pizza, a BOX of wine and a Redbox... good chance you'll be waiting on that expensive dinner for a while.

So, when does the lying stop? 44% of people say they come clean by the third date, that's not terrible... THIS IS TERRIBLE... 22% wait until after they say, "I LOVE YOU" and 9% wait until MARRIAGE! Yikes. Another 25% NEVER tell the truth until they get caught.
